The development of the ZIP patent was achieved in collaboration with the Japanese company YKK.

GGT 1000 is produced with a maximum width of up to 400 cm and a maximum height of up to 375 cm.

GGT 1000 ZIP is produced with a maximum width of up to 400 cm and a maximum height of up to 350 cm.

Technical system description

The system consists of an aluminum cassette with dimensions 101 x 100 mm, guides with dimensions 46 x 35 mm, a rolling tube, and screen fiberglass fabric.

Operated via an electric motor, controlled by a switch, “smart home” system, or remote control.

Production technology process:

The screen material is cut and shaped using ultrasonic cold cutting technology, which melts the edges. This method ensures durable sealed edges and prevents mechanical damage. It provides precise material dimensions, allowing proper rolling even without side guides.

The lower edge of the screen material, which enters the aluminum weight tube, is shaped using ultrasonic welding of the PVC structure to the screen material. The welding width is 20 mm, making the material opaque (smooth) at this point.
