GGT 78 Outdoor Screen Fiberglass System

A simple, elegant, and very affordable outdoor sun protection system, particularly suitable for loggias, garden gazebos, cafes, and restaurants. Operated using a crank or an electric motor.

GGT 78 is produced with a maximum width of up to 450 cm and a maximum height of up to 300 cm.

Component Specification

The GGT-78 outdoor screen roller system consists of the following components:

• Steel rolling tube Ø 78 mm with a groove for attaching the screen material, ensuring an ideal connection between the tube and the material, as well as proper rolling of the material into a perfect circle (without irregularities);
• Aluminum weight tube Ø 20 mm with a steel weight Ø 14 mm, inserted into the lower edge of the roller;
• PVC end cap with a nickel-plated metal support shaft;
• Metal mounting brackets (left and right);
• Stainless steel cable Ø 3 mm;
• Aluminum cable tensioners for optimal tightening;
• PVC flat strip (keder) as a part connecting the screen material and the rolling tube (ensuring an ideal bond without the possibility of the material detaching);
• Screen material (fabric);
• Optionally, a visible colored aluminum weight can be installed at the bottom of the material;

Production Technology Process:

The screen material is cut and shaped using ultrasonic cold cutting technology, melting the edges. This process ensures durable sealed edges and prevents mechanical damage. The method provides precise measurements of the screen material, enabling proper rolling even without side guides.

The lower edge of the screen material, into which the aluminum weight tube is inserted, is shaped using ultrasonic welding of the PVC structure. The welding width is 20 mm, making the screen material opaque (smooth) at this point.

Using the same technological process (ultrasonic welding on the upper side), the screen material is welded to a PVC flat strip (keder), which is then inserted into the groove of the aluminum rolling tube.
